ARCH. NATI INVITED AS PANELIST AT THE HPC-HOSPITALITY PHILIPPINES CONFERENCE 2019

MANILA – Last October 3, in the prestigious venue of the Manila Marriott Hotel, Arch. Romolo Valentino Nati, CEO of Italpinas Development Corporation-IDC, participated as panelist at the 4th edition of the Hospitality Philippines Conference 2019.
Organized by Escom Events, the HPC, created in 2016, aims to excel as the platform which connects together government bodies, real estate leaders, financing communities, project owners, Architects & Interior Designers, Engineers and Contractors, Hotel Groups, consultants, Suppliers and Vendors from Philippines and abroad to explore new investment opportunities, dissect industry trends and innovations and establish business partnerships.

Arch. Romolo Nati enthusiastically participated in a panel discussion about “Latest Trends in Hotel Design” joined by Arch. Cathy S. Saldaña (CEO & Managing Director PDP Architects), Arch. Benjamin C. Candari (Co-Founder/Principal FSC Architects) and Mr. Alfred Lay (Vice President GCI Hospitality).
Arch. Nati, shared ideas and perspectives on the industry trends emphasizing the fact that with more than 7000 islands, nine UNESCO World Heritage sites, tropical biodiversity and a great range of cultural traditions, the Philippines is one of the most attractive destinations in South-east Asia where foreigners are increasingly staying longer and spending more during their visits.
An expert in green architecture and sustainability, Arch. Nati together with Atty. Jose D.Leviste established in 2009, Italpinas Development Corporation, a real estate developer company, that from 2015 is a publicly listed company.
IDC, highly committed to environmental sustainability through elegant architectural solutions and trademark contemporary Italian aesthetic, has developed eco-friendly mixed-use projects in emerging cities in the Philippines, multi-awarded by national and international organization.
IDC has marked its legacy as the first green mover in Cagayan de Oro with its flagship project, Primavera Residences. With the passion to further strengthen its green advocacies in the city, IDC pursued to showcase its green initiative with its latest development, Primavera City in Cagayan de Oro. And further expanding in Sto. Tomas, Batangas with its project, Miramonti Green Residences.

All three developments of IDC had been awarded by the prestigious International Property Awards-Asia Pacific. Its latest development, Miramonti Green Residences received the citation in the Best Mixed-Use Development category in the International Property Awards-Asia Pacific 2019-2020.
IDC’s first two projects, Primavera Residences and Primavera City, are recipient of the same category with Primavera Residences winning recognition in 2015, and Primavera City winning the award in 2017.
In addition, IDC has partnered with the Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies (EDGE) in its green developments. It first project, Primavera Residences has been certified by EDGE. Both Primavera City and Miramonti Green Residences are already in the process if EDGE certification. EDGE is an innovation of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a sister organization of World Bank. EDGE certification is an online platform, a green building standard and a certification system active to over 150 countries worldwide.
