ARCH. ROMOLO V. NATI AND ATTY. JOSE D. LEVISTE RECEIVED THE VISIT OF “SunETRIKE” IN IDC’S HEAD OFFICE

MANILA – IDC – Italpinas Development Corporation CEO, Arch. Romolo V. Nati and President, Atty Jose D. Leviste, had the pleasure to meet Mr. Clayton Gray, the founder of SunETrike, provider of mobility services.

Accompanied by the Director of Marketing and the Director of Product Development, Mr. Clayton Gray explained how sunETRIKE is successfully providing mobility services, currently in Santo Tomas, Batangas, producing low-speed electric tricycles. These can operate in a variety of commercial roles, ranging from commuter passenger services to cargo transport and have capacity to carry up to seven passengers or 500 kg of freight, with top operating speeds of 50 km. The company is having a good success in Santo Tomas, Batangas serving the community within the Pueblo de Oro subdivision providing an environmentally-friendly way of transporting its residents in and out of the villages. The Etrike does not emit carbon monoxide that damages the earth’s ozone layer since it runs on electric motors powered by rechargeable batteries, at the same time-saving costs since no gasoline is required. The meeting with IDC’s management offered the opportunity to discuss of future synergies between the two companies, both highly committed to reduce substantially the energy consumption and provide sustainable solutions in their respective fields : IDC as a real estate developer company designing and constructing eco-friendly green buildings and sunETRIKE by providing a energy-efficient vehicle with clean technology that is also a cost-effective alternative for drivers. During the meeting was discussed also the possibility of signing in the next future a Memorandum of Understanding, foreseeing the opportunity of interacting in the city of Santo Tomas, Batangas, where IDC’s third and latest green project, Miramonti Green Residences, is under construction.
Miramonti Green Residences was recently recognized as Best Mixed-Use Development in the Asia-Pacific Region by the International Property Award-Asia Pacific held in Bankok last May 2019.
