IDC Speaks at 26th Mindanao Business Conference

Architect Romolo Valentino Nati, pioneer and leader in sustainable development in Cagayan de Oro, talked about “Building a Resilient Economy in Mindanao” at the 26th Mindanao Business Conference, last 7-9 September 2017 held in Uptown Cagayan de Oro.
The Mindanao Business Conference is considered as the largest annual business conference in Mindanao. It brought together business leaders, stakeholders, and government policy makers to talk about innovative strategies towards building a strong resilient Mindanao economy.
President Rodrigo Duterte graced the prestigious conference and highlighted during his speech that the government is aggressively pursuing infrastructure projects in Mindanao. He also cited that projects such as the Mindanao Railway system, the Panguil Bay Bridge and the Laguindingan Airport are currently in stages of implementation.
Nati is the CEO and chair of listed green developer Italpinas Development Corporation that he founded back in 2009, along with his business partner Atty. Jojo Leviste, the president of the company. They set up IDC with the philosophy to build sustainable projects in emerging cities in the Philippines.
For the past few years, the company has garnered several international recognitions, including two international property awards, such as “Best Mixed-Use Development in the Philippines” for its projects in CDO, Primavera Residences and Primavera City, and a global green certificate from International Finance Corporation (IPC), World Bank, and Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies (EDGE).
