Italpinas CEO, Architect Romolo Nati speaks at PSE-DBP listing forum

Arch. Romolo V. Nati, Chairman and CEO of Italpinas Development Corporation (IDC), was chosen to speak at the listing forum for owners of Small, Medium and Emerging Enterprises (SMEs) organized by the Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc. (PSE), in coordination with the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) held at PSE Ayala, Makati City last November 17, 2016.
“To be a publicly listed developer was one of the goals of the company when I started it with Atty. Jojo Leviste” (IDC President), said Arch. Nati, as he shares the IDC experience during the talk. “One of the benefits of being a listed company is that it makes an organization more meticulous and conscientious in practicing good governance in all aspect of its operation,” he added.
He also said that as a CEO of a fast-growing development firm, to be listed in the PSE is a challenging yet an exciting experience that helps him and the company to excel in the business.
With the theme “Accelerating SME Growth Through Listing”, the PSE-DBP Listing Forum aims to educate SMEs on the advantages of listing, the regulatory environment, and developing an Initial Public Offering (IPO). The program aims to provide SMEs the basic background of listing and increase their awareness in developing the capital market.
Italpinas was officially listed in the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) last December 7, 2015. As a multi-awarded green developer, its breakthrough project, Primavera Residences in Cagayan de Oro, has gained international and national accolades including the First Completed Building in East Asia to be certified by EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiency). This honor was given by the prestigious IFC World Bank Group. Due to their flagship project’s resounding success, IDC launched Phase 1 of Primavera City on June 24, 2016 and broke ground last September. Harnessing technological strategy within its buildings, IDC is eyeing emerging cities for their forthcoming projects.
