LIVING BY DESIGN: REVISITING A DECADE OF SUCCESS

In 2009, Romolo V. Nati, an award-winning Italian Architect with experience across Europe in design, real estate, and property development, came to the Philippines and met Jose (Jojo) D. Leviste III, an accomplished Filipino lawyer whose education and work experience was garnered in the Philippines, United States, and Australia.
Both sharing the same passion for promoting sustainable development in the Philippines and with the support of Dr. Jose P. Leviste Jr., a seasoned renewable energy entrepreneur, corporate social responsibility advocate, and sustainable mining investor, they established Italpinas Euroasian Design and Eco-development Corporation (ITPI) which later became Italpinas Development Corporation (IDC).
IDC is committed to environmental sustainability through elegant architectural solutions and trademark contemporary Italian aesthetic. Its focus is on hyper-prospective emerging cities and other next-wave locations in the Philippines. With its unique design philosophy, IDC is committed to sustainable developments in harmony with the environment to bring value to investors, end-users, and the community.
Now celebrating its 10th year of “Living by Design”, IDC has had noteworthy events in the story of the first decade of its growth.
2018
ITALPINAS WINS INNOVATION PROJECT OF THE YEAR AT OUTLOOK 2018
Last November, IDC received the award of “Best Innovation Project of the Year” for its third and latest project, Miramonti Green Residences, besting prestigious competitors such as AyalaLand, Imperial Homes, ACM Homes, and Double Dragon Development Corporation. The award was received by IDC’s President, Attorney Jose D. Leviste III.
THE ECONOMIST – SUSTAINABILITY SUMMIT ASIA 201
Held last November 15 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the “Sustainability Summit Asia 2018” was organized by the prestigious weekly magazine, The Economist, to bring together different experts such as scientists, NGO representatives, government leaders, entrepreneurs, and academics for a day of high-level discussions on possible solutions to achieve sustainable and inclusive economic growth in Asia.
Architect Romolo V. Nati, Chairman & CEO of IDC, was among the panelists in the discussion about “Urbanization and Mass Migration” together with Dahlia Rosly, President of the Malaysian Association of Social Impact Assessment, and Vijay Eswaran, founder and executive chairman of the QIGroup, a multinational conglomerate.
IDC BAGS BEST ENVIRONMENTAL CSR DURING 7TH MBLEA
Italpinas Development Corporation (IDC) represented by Frances Mae Galvez, Brand Manager; and Edelyn Madroo, Director for Operations during the awarding ceremony.
Apart from providing unique and innovative real estate products that exceed the expectations of investors and clients, IDC also takes action to reduce environmental impact while developing in emerging cities nationwide. IDC bagged the award for the Best Environmental Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) last October 24, 2018, during the 7th Mindanao Business Leaders and Entrepreneur Awards held at Centrio Mall Events Center, Cagayan de Oro City. Alan Mediante, Mindanao Daily’s Vice President for Corporate Affairs, said that through hosting the said event “it is the responsibility of media to give due recognition to business leaders & entrepreneurs for building the economy, specifically the development here in Mindanao.”
IDC REVENUES INCREASED TO OVER P373M WITHIN 9-MONTH PERIOD ENDING SEPTEMBER
IDC announced an increase in revenue by 203% with net sales as of September 30, 2018, The increase in sales reflected enthusiastic market acceptance of IDC’s award-winning mixed-use condominium project, Primavera City. Upon selling out 86% of units in Primavera City’s first phase, worth P672 million, and 45% of units in the Miramonti Project’s first phase, worth P400 million, Architect Nati confirmed that IDC plans to launch the second phases for both Primavera City (Cagayan de Oro) and Miramonti (Sto. Tomas, Batangas).

ITALPINAS WINS ASIA PACIFIC PROPERTY AWARDS FOR THE SECOND TIME
IDC was once again named “Best Mixed-Use Development” at the International Property Awards Asia Pacific 2017. IDC earned the prestigious award for its soon-to-rise project at Uptown Cagayan de Oro, Primavera City, after its first development, twin-tower Primavera Residences, located in the same city, won in the same category in 2014. The Asia Pacific Property Awards is recognized as a mark of excellence for property professionals.
2016
ITALPINAS BAGS SUSTAINABILITY DESIGN AWARD FOR CDO PROJECT
IDC was awarded the “Leadership in Sustainability Design Award” by the Philippine Green Building Council for its pioneering Primavera Residences project in Uptown, Cagayan de Oro. IDC also represented the country at the World Green Building Council Asia Pacific Regional Network Leadership Awards for the same category.
IDC’s flagship development was recognized for its eco-friendly strategies, including a passive performance by way of vertical airflow through an inner courtyard, layouts that facilitate cross-ventilation throughout the building, and shaded facades to lower internal temperatures throughout the day, saving up to 32% in residents’ air-conditioning costs. The development also harnesses renewable energy from rooftop solar panels, to contribute to the illumination of common areas.
ITALPINAS PROJECT GAINS IFC’S GREEN BUILDING CERTIFICATION
IDC received the “Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies” (EDGE) certification for its flagship project – Primavera Residences, a twin tower condominium project in CDO’s Pueblo de Oro Township; the first complete condominium project in East Asia certified by EDGE.
EDGE is a rigorous and exclusive green building certification system for emerging markets created by International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group, to help property developers build and brand their properties “green.”
2015
PHILIPPINE STOCK EXCHANGE INC. APPROVES THREE MORE IPOS FOR 2015
The Philippine Stock Exchange Inc. (PSE) approved the initial public offering (IPO) applications of real estate developer Italpinas Development Corporation. IDC disclosed the intent to raise as much as P242.18 million from its maiden offering, which was conducted in December 2015.

The IDC share price sizzled in its debut at the Philippine Stock Exchange after announcing the expansion and the acceleration of current projects over the following two years. IDC shares reached a high of P5.40 apiece, up 50 percent from the IPO price of P3.60 before closing at P4.22.

IDC had the ceremonial turnover of its second tower in Cagayan de Oro through a formal ceremony attended by unit owners and their families, partner brokers, banks, and contractors on December 16, 2015.
Gracing the events were IDC’s officials and VIPs, namely IDC Chairman & CEO Arch. Romolo Nati, IDC President Atty. Jojo Leviste who led the ribbon cutting with City Mayor Oscar Moreno and INVEST Officer Eileen San Juan followed by a blessing ceremony of the building with Msgr. Florencio Salvador of the St. Francis Xavier Chaplaincy.

PRIMAVERA RESIDENCES WINS BEST MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT IN THE PHILIPPINES AWARD
IDC picked up its 5-star award for “Best Mixed-Use Development” in the Philippines during the Asia Pacific Property Awards held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The awarding ceremony took place at the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur last May 9 and was attended by top developers, architects, interior designers, and real estate agents from the Asia Pacific region.
The Asia Pacific Property Awards is an annual regional competition organized by the prestigious International Property Awards, a world-renowned global organization that honors the best developers and properties in the real estate industry.
