Northern Mindanao to continue to thrive concludes special conference

On Wednesday, July 28 2021 an extraordinary line-up of speakers gave an exciting display of all the capabilities and potential of Northern Mindanao in a digital event on zoom. The “1st Northern Mindanao Business Conference” proved to be of great success with a great following and participation from sponsors to active event participants.
Arch. Romolo Nati, Chairman, and CEO of Italpinas Development Corporation shared about Italian investment in the region. This extraordinary economic growth potential was one of the main reasons why Italpinas Development Corporation invested in Cagayan de Oro, Architect Romolo Valentino Nati explained. As an Italian, he saw many similarities with the economic development that happened in Italy 30 years ago and when he first arrived in Cagayan in 2009 he immediately fell in love with the city. Spearheading what for provincial cities back then was a new concept, mixed-use green and sustainable buildings, he developed the company’s first project “Primavera Residences” in Uptown CdO, strategically located just next to SM City Uptown in Pueblo de Oro Business Park.

The enormous success this project drew convinced the company to expand further and launch another development called “Primavera City”, also located just next to SM City Uptown and in total composed of six 10-story towers and one 20 story tower, of which the first two are nearly completed. As a green building thought leader and sustainable development advocate Architect Nati believes that through passive green design features that enhance natural ventilation and the use of natural light as well as with the use of solar panels, condo-living can be a testament to a healthy and modern lifestyle. The importance of comfortable living with everything at your doorstep is the center point of Primavera and its location.
The company’s other project in Sto Tomas Batangas, also located in an industrial park and strategically located right at the Sto Tomas exit of the Southern Luzon Expressway and a mere 1-hour drive from Makati, also features passive green design features and is poised to become a true landmark of the area, similarly to what happened to the projects in Cagayan de Oro.
The great success of Italpinas Development Corporation has been the vision to focus on the development of green buildings in secondary cities counting on the growth of the provinces. The PSE-listed developer, co-lead by its President Attorney Jojo Leviste, proves how foreign investments can benefit the life of Filipinos, beyond the mere creation of jobs in the construction industry.
