PRESIDENT OF LANDBANK MEETS WITH ARCH. ROMOLO V. NATI

MANILA – On March 28, the new president of Land Bank of the Philippines (LandBank), Ms. Cecilia Borromeo, received the courtesy visit of Italpinas Development Corporation-IDC’s Chairman and CEO, Arch. Romolo V. Nati.

A statement announced that Ms. Borromeo, the former Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) chief, took her oath last March 1, as Landbank 10th president and chief executive officer (CEO). She was sworn in by Finance Secretary and LANDBANK.

A statement announced that Ms. Borromeo, the former Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) chief, took her oath last March 1, as Landbank 10th president and chief executive officer (CEO). She was sworn in by Finance Secretary and LANDBANK Chairman Carlos Dominguez during a special board meeting at the LANDBANK Plaza in Malate, Manila.

Ms. Borromeo, who was transferred to LandBank from the DBP last February 15 by President Rodrigo Duterte, rejoined LandBank as its second woman President on March 1, which incidentally starts the celebration of Women’s Month. She is also the second in career position to take the reins of LandBank.

In the premises of LandBank Building in Manila, Arch. Nati expressed his congratulations for the successful settlement of Ms. Cecilia Borromeo as the new president of Land Bank.

Eight years ago, on May 2011, LandBank and Italpinas Development Corporation entered their first partnership when was signed an agreement for a P130 million term loan to finance the construction of Phase 1 of IDC’s flagship development, Primavera Residences, an eleven storey mixed-use building, in Pueblo de Oro Township in uptown Cagayan de Oro City.

IDC partnered again with LandBank exactly one year ago, on March 2018, securing a P420-million term loan to finance Italpinas Development Corporation third project, located in RFM Science Park/LISP III, in Santo Tomas, Batangas.

The loan from LANDBANK will finance the first of two phases of Miramonti Green Residences which will consist of a 21-story mixed-use green building standing on a commercial lot covering 2,057 square meters and offering 352 residential units, 20 commercial spaces, and 88 parking slots.

The design of Miramonti Green Residences integrates green strategies and systems that aim to reduce overall energy consumption in all towers resulting in long-term energy consumption savings. One of its key features is the use of passive cooling technology such as shadow and sunlight control, wind cooling and shape performance. The project will also harness solar energy from photovoltaic panels to be installed on the roof of the towers.

All of IDC’s project won, the prestigious International Property Awards for Asia Pacific, a highly acclaimed award in the worldwide property industry. IDCs latest development, Miramonti Green Residences is an Award Winner for Best Mixed-Use Development in the Philippines 2019-2020.
