ARCHITECT NATI SHOWCASES IDC DEVELOPMENTS IN BEX ASIA 2018
SINGAPORE – Italpinas Development Corporation’s (IDC) Chairman & CEO, Architect Romolo Valentino Nati, participated at the Build Eco Xpo (BEX) Asia as one of the speakers, last September 7 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
Organized by Reed Exhibitions, part of RELX Group, BEX Asia is an annual gathering of the green building professionals, where over 12,000 architects, building owners, developers, engineers, facility managers, and solution providers meet, exchange ideas, source for the latest products and solutions, and build valuable relationships over the three-day event.
The Green View Seminar runs concurrently with BEX Asia and is a learning platform that showcases a selection of highly curated and qualified presentations on sustainable building solutions.
It is during the Green View Seminar that Arch. Romolo V. Nati highlighted, in his presentation, the green building technologies that have been adopted in the multi-awarded IDC’s projects developed in emerging cities of the Philippines.

The eco-friendly green building, Primavera Residences, was the company’s flagship project in Cagayan de Oro City followed by Primavera City, also located in uptown Cagayan de Oro City and Miramonti Green Residences, in Santo Tomas, Batangas, mixed-use buildings featuring active and passive green technologies that reduce impact on the environment, contributing to the cities’ increasing demand for quality housing.
Branding sustainability in development projects, Architect Romolo Nati made use of the Biomimicry Technique that inspired the architecture design of Primavera Residences and Primavera City to that of a termite mound. The inner voids of the buildings increase natural air ventilation thus providing a natural climate cooling system without necessarily spending cost and energy on air conditioners. Aside from countless amenities to cater to the residential tenants’ needs, both buildings also optimize the use of energy in common areas through the photovoltaic panels that provide renewable energy production.
“We developed IDC to focus on green design buildings across emerging cities. We believe that developments with cutting-edge green design and architectural aesthetic that are responsive not only to environmental protection but also to client’s needs, is what is missing in the Philippines’ flourishing real estate industry”, Architect Romolo Nati explained in a recent interview with a local publishing company.
