CdeO Developer Talks about Business Sustainability on BizNews-PTV 4

“We want to break the stereotype that building is expensive. IDC want to present that green buildings are affordable, which is what we have already proven with Primavera Residences (IDC’s first project in Cagayan de Oro),” says Architect Nati during the interview aired on BizNews, last Monday.

BizNews is a reputable program shown on the People’s Television Network, Inc. (PTV) at channel 4. Italpinas Development Corporation’s Architect Romolo Nati, chairman and chief executive officer, Atty. Jojo D. Leviste, president, and Dr. Jose P. Leviste, primo consigliere talked about going green is good business as they graced the program.

IDC is a PSE-listed developer with specialization in green developments. As they continue their run to advocate green buildings, the developer has bagged recognitions from the national and global arena for their projects.

Its first breakthrough project, Primavera Residences, is dubbed as the first and green mixed-use condominium in the region of Northern Mindanao. It has received several recognitions including the EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies), a global green certification awarded by IFC-World Bank, and the Best Mixed-Use Development 2014, to name a few.  At the same time, its rising follow-up development, Primavera City, has recently won the Asia Pacific Award for the Best Mixed-Use Development 2017, winning IDC for the second time in the International Property Awards within three years.

The company currently holds the distinction as a developer that dedicates its developments in growing areas in the country, where the big players in the industry are hesitant to go.

According to Architect Nati, this advocacy is to change the way business people perceive about emerging cities. As competitors consider to target big cities where the marketplace is concentrated, the company’s mission rather propounds a value proposition that makes them “ahead of the curve and ahead of competition”. At the same time, its aim is to bring more opportunities when it comes to employment and businesses to these cities.

Right now, IDC is commencing its expansion for the first time in Luzon. It brings its globally certified experience in green developments with the Miramonti project to be set in Santo Tomas, Batangas, which is expected for its cityhood by the end of 2017.
