IDC to discuss Condotels Concept at World Travel Expo

Now in its 5th year, the “World Travel Expo” will be held in its virtual edition 2021 on October 14, 15, and 16 2021. The tourism sector worldwide is one of the most battered ones by the pandemic and its recovery strategy in the Philippines is still uncertain. Strategic stakeholders will therefore gather at the 2-day conference of this digital 3-day Expo & Conference event to discuss “Igniting recovery in the tourism industry” and “Rebuilding tourism for the future”.

Architect Romolo Nati, Chairman, and CEO of Italpinas Development Corporation, a PSE-listed green building developer in the Philippines will be tasked to talk about the Condotel and Serviced Apartments sector which he knows very well since the concept of the fully furnished and managed plug&play condominium units has been one of his advocacies.

Other speakers include DOT Secretary Berna Puyat, Tourism Promotions Board Chief, Maria Anthonette Velasco, European Delegation Ambassador His Excellency Luc Vèron, PWC’s Executive Director – Deals and Corporate Finance, Ayala Hotels & Resorts Group Managing Director Andrea Mastellone, and KLM/Airfrance Country Head Arthur Plugge among others.

We can expect some exciting discussions happening at the event especially during the planned Q&A sessions. Architect Romolo Nati is a fierce green building and sustainable development advocate and his company, IDC is developing green mixed-use projects in Sto Tomas and Cagayan de Oro with a strong Condotel component.
The event is also a virtual exhibition where visitors can browse through virtual booths and also have virtual meetings with the various exhibitors at their stand or in special meeting lounges. The event registration can be done at the following website: https://adasiaevents.com
